I'm a writer of children's books who also enjoys a lot of other things like music, theatre, baseball, and a good joke. 

I live in Normal, Illinois, which, yes, is a real place. 

​I'm more of a dog person than a cat person. 

I write children's books because I want to create amazing experiences for children and the adults who care about them. That's the hope at least.
